Evidence of conformity with the acceptance criteria shall bemaintained.The release of goods and services to the customer shall not proceed until the planned arrangements forverification of conformity have been satisfactorily completed, unless otherwise approved by a relevantauthority and, where applicable, by the customer. Documented information shall indicate the person(s)authorizing release of goods and services for delivery to the customer.8.8 Nonconforming goods and servicesThe organization shall ensure that goods and services which do not conform to requirements are identifiedand controlled to prevent their unintended use or delivery that will have a negative impact on the customer.The organization shall take actions (including corrections if needed) appropriate to the nature of thenonconformity and its effects.
