General InformationApplicable to all Model TypesThe installation of the module is performed asdescribed in the MC-<strong>18</strong> programming manual.IMPORTANTAfter installation of the module ALL model memoriesshould be cleared. If this is not done, it is possiblethat fragments of previous programs left in thememory may cause malfunction in conjunction withthe PROFI-ULTRASOFT-Module.To this end, after selecting the model No via code 56ENTER , entering the model number 1…7 (or1…30 1 ), the key CLEAR has to be pressed firstinstead of just pressing the ENTER , and ENTER isthen used to clear the memories. This step shouldpreferably be performed immediately after installationof the module for ALL model memories, one afteranother.Therefore input as follows:ENTER 5 6 ENTER 1 CLEAR ENTERENTER 5 6 ENTER 2 CLEAR ENTER…ENTER 5 6 ENTER 7 CLEAR ENTER(…ENTER 5 6 ENTER 3 0 CLEAR ENTER )This procedure needs only to be performed this o<strong>net</strong>ime.List of FunctionsThe PROFI-ULTRASOFT-Module has nine differentmodel types in all, which are selectable via code 58.For obvious reasons model selection must be the firststep when programming a new model. This stepdetermines which of the options will be available inthe course of the programming process.Basic Programs including Automatic ManoeuvresMULTISOFT for Aerobatic classes such as F3A and F3BCode Model Type58/1 NORMALNormal Model/2 NORMAL/DIFFNormal models with 2 Aileron Se rvos/3 DELTA/DIFFDelta and Flying Wing models/4 UNIFLY/DIFFFor sailplanes & power models equipped withplain flaps or spoilers actuated by a single servo./5 QUADRO-FLAPFor sailplanes & power models equipped withseparate servos for each aileron an d each flap (4wing mounted servos).Universal Profi-ProgramsFor competition pilots in classes F3A, F3B, F3E & large soarers.58/6 F3B (3 wing-sv)Universal program for contest models equippedwith 3 wing mounted servos.(1 servo for flaps); undesired functions to be leftunoccupied at the RX./7 F3B (4 wing-sv)Universal program for contest models equippedwith 4 wing mounted servos.(2 servos for flaps); undesired functions to be leftunoccupied at the RX.Universal Helicopter ProgramsFor contest flyers in class F3C58/8 HELIUniversal program for contest models includingthose equipped with rpm and gyro control./9 HELI (sp.ctl)Special program for contest models equippedwith gyro and rpm control.1 TX of series ’89 (and later) are designed for 30 model memories.5
