SATZ SCHOOLJUNE <strong>25</strong>, 2013 8:00 PMWHEREAS: the Hazlet Board of Education has awarded Sakoutis Brothers Disposal, Inc., as thelowest responsible bidder; andBE IT RESOLVED, that the Board award a contract in accordance with bid specifications toSakoutis Brothers Disposal, Inc. Farmingdale, NJ for Trash and Recycling Removal Services, in theamount of $36,636.00, per year for the period of August 1, 2013 through July 31, 2016.MOTION: SECOND: VOTE:9iii.Approval of Membership to the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association – <strong>Holmdel</strong>High SchoolResolved:That the Board approve <strong>Holmdel</strong> High School as a member of the New Jersey StateInterscholastic Athletic Association, to participate in the approved inter<strong>school</strong>athletic program sponsored by the NJSIAA, for the 2013/2014 <strong>school</strong> year, asprovided for in Chapter 172 Laws 1979 (N.J.S.A. 18A:11-3, et seq.).MOTION: SECOND: VOTE:9jjj.Approval of Transfer of Unexpected Appropriations and/or Excess Revenue to ReserveWHEREAS: NJSA 18A:21-2 and NJSA 18A:7G-13 permit a Board of Education to establishand/or deposit into certain reserve accounts at year end and,WHEREAS: the aforementioned statutes authorize procedures, under the authority of theCommissioner of Education, which permit a Board of Education to transfer anticipated excesscurrent revenue or unexpended appropriations into reserve accounts during the month of June byboard resolution, andWHEREAS: the <strong>Holmdel</strong> Township Board of Education wishes to deposit anticipated excesscurrent revenues and/or unexpended appropriations into a Maintenance Reserve account at yearend, andWHEREAS: the <strong>Holmdel</strong> Township Board of Education has determined that up to $1,000,000.00 isavailable for such purposes to transfer,NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the <strong>Holmdel</strong> Township Board of Education that ithereby authorizes the Districts School Business Administrator to establish this account if necessaryand make this transfer consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.MOTION: SECOND: VOTE:44
