While tank testingsuggests we could use similar motorsto the Prowler 9000 the new hull caneasily run faster than the Prowler9000 which has a max speed of 21knots.The VT allows for a very wide rangeof choice in fittings and options. Youhave the option to add luxury items,then simply use the motor size togive the required performance. Theresult will affect the fuel economy ofthe boat but this is not always apriority. 90hp Outboard motors areideal for the lighter boats going up to150hp for customers looking forspeeds above 30 knots or who chooseto load on extra weight. Dieselmotors are also an option as thereis plenty of room under the cockpitfloor to house them.The motors sit off centre leaving alarge boarding area for easy accessfrom the marina or a dinghy. Thisarea will also accept the swimmingladder. The dinghy is stored on davitsaft of the cockpit seat. Construction isPre-cut DuFlex (balsa cored) flatpanels and West system epoxyproducts.
