NESDA President’s MessageTHE PREMIER SERVICEORGANIZATION PREPARES FOR ITSSIGNATURE EVENT!Hello all,As I gaze intomy screen and make final ar-rangements forNPSC 2007 in Denver, I can’thelp but feel a bit awestruck at the size andbreadth of NESDA/ISCET’s offering this year.And I am not just talking about the number ofservice classes available. No matter what facetof the service chain you are in, there is somethingwaiting for you in Denver.It doesn’t matter whether you are thecounterperson, on the bench, on the road, inthe office, or a little of all. There is guaranteedto be something that you will learn andtake back to your own organization’s benefit.Technical seminars, management classes,symposiums, breakout sessions, the absolutelyfantastic Trade Show (the largest in ourindustry), all in the breathtaking destination ofDenver, Colorado.One of my favorite things about NPSC is thevaried and diverse nature of the people wemeet every year. Small and large servicersalike convene in one central location to share,learn and commiserate about the industry forthe betterment of all. That is the spirit of NPSC.And in the spirit of sharing, one event standsout above all others and that is the KeynoteAddress. I am thrilled that Henry Chiarelli fromDBL Distributing has been kind enough to graceus with his wit and wisdom again this year.Anyone who attended last year’s event knowswhat a charismatic and persuasive speakerHenry is. This is one not to be missed.The Trade Show is absolutely busting at itsseams with booth after booth of vendors andindustry partners, anxious to get to know bothyou and your business. Where else can youwalk down an aisle and speak with practicallyeveryone you do business with? Manufacturers’Fred Paradis, CSM • NESDA PresidentDave’s Radio & TV Inc. Many have there entire US staffof field reps on hand to discuss and formulateplans that are beneficial to all involved.It has been said many times that once you attendNPSC, you will never want to miss another.In my last report I mentioned the “NPSCSweepstakes,” where six lucky winners wouldbe chosen to receive an NPSC scholarship ofairfare, hotel and convention registration providedby our Industry Angels. An absolute slamdunk in terms of opening one’s eyes to whatNESDA/ISCET has to offer. The six lucky winnersare…Tom Caruso, Richard Fisher, DaveVandervinne, Arthur Sauceda, Daniel Meadand Norman P. So remember, if yousee one of these six winners welcome themaboard and when you see our Industry Angelsponsors, tell them thanks for everything theydo all year in support of our organization.Hopefully I didn’t forget anyone or any courseand with that in mind, I would like to be proactiveon this next thought. At this time I wouldlike to thank every Manufacturer, Parts Distributor,Third Party Administrator, Support Company,NESDA/ISCET staff member and Boardmember, Henry Chiarelli and above all, everyNESDA and ISCET member attending, whichwithout all of your involvement NPSC 2007 willnot and would not happen.
