Given the continuationwith the economy, our portfolio has done as well as can beexpected.The Committee has not changed our basic policy ofmaintaining a prudent level of risk with our reserves. Whilenever satisfied with our gains compared to levels that havebeen achieved by some other more aggressive portfolios, ourconservative approach provided a positive level of return in2010. The Committee will make adjustments with the approvalof the Board of Directors and will continue to monitor ourholdings, and make further adjustments as time goes on.CHAPTER NEWSZONE 2- DAYTON <strong>PHCC</strong>- Ron Schmitt, Director16 Contractor Members /5 Associate Members3 Retired / 2 Inspectors (advisory members)Membership Efforts: We host an annual Products Show thatattracts prospective members. We also invite area contractors tothe event and recruit from this event.Member Recognition: Don Voight was recognized for hisefforts on the conjoined-twins home project.Education: We continue to make it our goal to provide at least10 CEU credits per year for members. One of our best attendedmeetings was a presentation by the <strong>Ohio</strong> State Highway Patrolon the upcoming PUCO motor carrier rules.Special Events/Community Service: Held our 5th AnnualProducts Show. Provided a kitchen and bath remodel forworld’s oldest conjoined twins. The project was featured on theTLC cable channel with some of our members appearing on theshow.<strong>Issue</strong>s: Concerned about the PUCO motor carrier rules.ZONE 3- Cincinnati MPA- Brian Nieman, Director89 Contractor Members / 38 Associate MembersMembership Efforts: Continue to work with Associatemembers to recruit new members. The Chapter is offering $100for every new contractor member recruited.Member Recognition: Jim Siler, Wolverine Brass was awardedthe Herbert J.
