Measure the rough opening to ensure that it is notmore than 3/4" wider in overall Width or 1/2" taller inoverall Height than the outside width or height ofyour entire door frame assembly (FIGURE 1).A2. Measure the rough opening diagonally fromcorner-to-corner in both directions. There should beno more than 1/2" difference between the twomeasurements (FIGURE 2 & 2A).FIGURE 33. Make sure walls are plumb and not twisted. Makenecessary corrections where possible to ensurewalls are plumb and straight (FIGURE 3).1
