5.4.2.7 Family G5.4.2.7.1 Resistance of slotThe test is performed in ambient conditions.Samples with notch are applied to a rigid substrate as show in Figure 16.A force is exerted, at a speed rate of 5 mm/min on the cladding element’s fixing until failure.Figure 16 - Example of slot testA minimum of 5 tests shall be carried out.The results are expressed in N.The test report shall detail the following in accordance with Annex D:- Each F n value- The mean F ns value- The characteristic F nsc value giving 75 % confidence that 95 % of the test results will behigher than this value- The mode of failure descriptionNote : In case of a doubt on a resistance of dead load or in case of anti-lift up, a test in thevertical direction of the cassette may be performed.5.4.2.8 Family HIf the cladding elements are fixed by nails or screws, the through cladding element test inaccording with § 5.4.2.4.1 and pull-through resistance under shear loads tests in accordingwith § 5.4.2.1.2 are performed.If the cladding elements are fixed by metal clip, the test in according with § 5.4.2.6 isperformed.5.4.3 Resistance to horizontal point loadsWhere required, the behaviour when tested for horizontal static load in service (ladder bearingagainst it) shall be checked.<strong>ETAG</strong> <strong>034</strong>50
