School Readiness/PreschoolClasses are held in local elementary schools and area Early Childhood Centers throughout the District.School Readiness/Preschool ClassesChildren 3 - 5 Years of AgeOur program is designed to help children learn the skills necessaryfor success in kindergarten and beyond in a caring and age appropriatelearning environment. Children will interact with others in smalland large groups and have individual as well as group learningexperiences in math, language and literacy, music, art and science.Classes are held in the following elementary schools: Armstrong,Bailey, Cottage Grove, Crestview, Grey Cloud, Hillside, LibertyRidge, Newport, Pine Hill, Pullman, Red Rock, Royal Oaks, andWoodbury Elementary. Classes are also offered at the DistrictProgram Center in Cottage Grove; Central Park and Valley Crossingin Woodbury. Attendance boundary transportation is available forchildren ages 4 and 5 attending preschool classes in elementaryschools. Preschoolers ride on existing K-5 bus routes.
