Facility UseDistrict 833 encourages the use of school facilities by district residents.To use District 833 facilities:1. Complete an application for use of school facilities. Forms are available onour website at www.cecool.com. (Click on facility use.)Or call Tim at 651-458-6611.2. E-mail the form from our website, or print and return your signed application.By fax: 651-458-6620, or by mail to: <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Education</strong>Attn: Facility Use8400 E. Point Douglas Rd. S.Cottage Grove, MN 550163. <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Education</strong> will process the request on a first-come space availablebasis. Upon approval, you will receive a Facility Use Rental Agreement.4. Return a signed copy of the Rental Agreement with full payment of the facilityuse fee at least 2 weeks prior to event. You will be billed after the eventfor additional charges incurred. Groups renting 15 or more hours may beinvoiced for total fee as arranged by <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Education</strong>.Scheduling priority:To provide maximum use of schoolfacilities with minimum conflicts, itis necessary to schedule groups on apriority basis as follows.Class 1:Class 2:Class 3a:Class 3b:Class 3c:Class 4:Regular K-12 school events.<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Education</strong> programs.Nonprofit - volunteer supervision/instruction,with 75% ormore District residents.Nonprofit - paid supervision/instruction, with 75% or moreDistrict residents.Nonprofit - money taken onsite and/or less than 75% Districtresidents.Commercial - for-profit.Frequently askedquestions:1. Why do community groupspay to use school facilities?Access to facilities involvesadded costs such as utilities,cleaning, consumable suppliesand additional wear and tear.These costs are absorbed by theregular classroom if they arenot charged back to the user.School District 833 facilities are available for your group to rent.2.
