THE IDCA AWARDSIDCA: HONOURING CREATIVE EXCELLENCEIN DESIGN AND COMMUNICATION WITHINTHE MUSEUM AND ART WORLDThe International Design & Communication Awards (IDCA) celebrate excellent<strong>design</strong> and <strong>communication</strong> initiatives across the art world.The IDCA <strong>awards</strong> assess <strong>communication</strong>s, <strong>design</strong> and branding strategies withinthe arts and museum sphere. They also encourage art organisations to findoriginal and inventive ways to communicate.The IDCA <strong>awards</strong> provide a new networking forum for <strong>communication</strong>s and<strong>design</strong> professionals and offer a great opportunity to increase awareness on howmuseums, art institutions and galleries use <strong>design</strong> to communicate.The <strong>awards</strong> encompass eight different categories, taking into accountvarious aspects of a visual <strong>communication</strong> and brand strategy.
