The manufacturer suggests regular check forwater intrusion/condensation which should be removedimmediately. Check the drain plug / drain hole function.When cleaning, use only mild detergents. Alcohol orpetroleum based products may damage lens, paint orplastic components.SAFETY PRECAUTIONSNote that changes made to the product and/orinstallation of components which do not conform to theapproval, may be a safety violation. The manufacturer willin no circumstance be held responsible for such activity.For your health and safety, always use safety gear suitedfor the task. Be certain to follow codes, regulations and/orspecific procedures that are related to the installation.APPROVALNARUBBER SEALCable diameter Size Part No.5 - 9mm Ø20,4/9 x 8mm 5002 00458,5 - 14mm Ø20/13 x 8mm 5002 0038Be sure to install the cable in a way wich prevents water to penetrate into the enclosure through the cable gland,also make sure to use the correct rubber seal when you install the <strong>luminaire</strong>.


TEF 2438N LUMINAIRE USER MANUALINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSPrior to the installation, remove the globe of the<strong>luminaire</strong>. This is done by turning the globe ring/guardcounter clockwise, and then pull out both the guard andthe globe. Ensure that the silicon gasket stay on the globeflange, as it is vital to obtain the water ingress protection.The lamp is fastened to a structure typically by means oftwo M5 bolts, spaced at 120mm. If installed on a wall,ensure that the cable gland is pointing downwards tominimize the risk of water ingress through the cablegland.Remove the bottom assembly plate inside the <strong>luminaire</strong>.This is done by only loosening the two M3 screws, thenslightly turning the bottom assembly plate until it can bepulled out.Check that the rubber gasket inside the cable glandmatches the dimension of the cable. See the section atbottom of the preceding page in this <strong>manual</strong>, and swicthto a different size if required. Pull the cable through thecable gland and connect the wires to the terminals on thebottom assembly plate.Replace the bottom assembly plate, while ensuring thatthe cable and wires beneath it, does not get jammed whenthe two screws for the bottom assembly plate aretightened. Then tighten the cable gland nut until therubber gasket is firmly sealing against the cable.Finally, test the lamp, then replace the globe and the globering/guard.
