You will gain knowledge and training through our on-site bakeshop and restaurant.Earn a national certification includingsafety, sanitation and food handling,called Serv/Safe (National RestaurantAssociation Education FoundationCertification).Qualify to participate in the New EnglandCulinary Institute (NECI) scholarshipprogram.Gain experience in the on-site publicrestaurant and bakeshop.Develop skills and knowledge forpost-secondary education.Articulation/Co-Enrollment:Advanced students have the opportunity to be dual-enrolled both at STC and the NewEngland Culinary Institute. Students have the opportunity to take part in an on-line,6-week course offered by NECI. This course includes an intensive 1 week live-in class atNECI’s Montpelier campus. With successful completion the student may receive ascholarship towards a NECI education, as well as advanced placement.16
