In the Health Careers program you can become a licensednursing assistant (LNA), take Medical Math, MedicalTerminology, and Diversified Health Occupations. You havehands-on experience taking care of patients in a nursinghome. When you return for your second year, you alsohave the opportunity to take college classes and work inthe hospital. I work in the operating room every Monday,Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm. Then I return toStafford to take a chemistry class. Mondays and WednesdaysI also take English Composition at Castleton State College.Since I’ve come to Stafford, I actually like coming to school todo what I love.
