She has been working as a speech-languagetherapist for almost three years at St. Colman’s school. Sheworks with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.Tonia has recently left her position as a speech therapist tocontinue her education and work towards a Masters of Sciencein Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from Sage College.It is her goal to continue to research and expand education tohelp individuals living with Autism and their families. Duringgraduate studies, she will be working at DLG Wealth Managementin Clifton Park.Alex Weller is 25 years old and lives in Clifton Park. He hasworked in roofing construction for the past five years and willfinish his Associates Degrees in Civil Engineering and BusinessAdministration in the spring of 2012. Alex plans to continuehis education in Civil Engineering at Rochester Institute ofTechnology in the fall of 2012.Alex and Tonia started dating around Valentine’s Day in2002. They we both juniors in high school (Shenendehowa) andthe last thing they thought about was that they were about tofind a partner for life. They have been through many ups anddowns and have always found their way back to each other.They consider themselves lucky to have fallen in love withsomeone who is their best friend.Alex’s family has a camp on an island in Kiwassa Lake,near Saranac Lake. They love to go there and spend timetogether and with the family during the summer months. EveryFebruary (Valentine’s Day weekend), the town (Saranac Lake)has a winter carnival.
