At the recent ACBS International Quarterly
meeting held in Chicago, nominations
for officers and directors for the upcoming
year were announced. At the top of the slate,
nominated for President, is Bob Bush, long
time member of the No/Cal Lake Tahoe
Chapter. Bob is a past President of the
Nor/ Cal Chapter and has served on the International
Board since 1998, most recently as
Senior VP. He will assume the office at the
upcoming Annual Meeting being held at the
Hyatt at Lake Tahoe in September.
The above message is from international. If you
have been to some of our chapter events you may
have already had the pleasure of meeting Bob and
his wife Arlene. Bob was our chapter president in
1998. They both enjoy the boating aspect of our
club, but also the social. Their boats are always
full of fun loving people, some friends, some family.
Bob has passed his love of boats along to his
son Tim. Tim Bush became a board member of
our chapter in 2004 and he and his wife Teri have
chaired the committee for the Pleasanton Boat
Show for the last 2 years. When you see Bob and
his family this summer and at the
Int’l boat show and meeting, make
sure you take a moment to introduce
yourself. You won’t regret
