This radio wasdesigned to meet the FCC’s rules and regulationsfor the maximum permissibleexposure to radio frequency energy. Thisdesign was tested and found to be compliantto the strict requirements establishedby the FCC.This radio was designed for and is classifiedas “Occupational Use Only”, meaningit must be used only during the courseof employment by individuals aware ofthe hazards, and the ways to minimizesuch hazards. This radio is not intendedfor use by the “General Population” in anuncontrolled environment. It’s use isrestricted to work related operations onlywhere the radio operator must have theknowledge to control his or her exposureconditions for satisfying the higher exposurelimit allowed for OccupationalUsers.Caution: It is up to the user to properlyoperate this transmitter to ensure safeoperation.
