VSAT could be used as the main link wherever OFC connectivity is not feasible.VHF Data Link (VDL): All VHF stations shall have data link capability forestablishing data communication with the pilot whenever the standards for data linkcommunication on VHF are finalised.Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC): Direct Controller to pilotdata link is to be provided at all Flight Information Centres/Area Control Centres to ensurequick and reliable communication. All aircraft flying in Indian airspace above flight level 26oshould necessarily be equipped with Future Air Navigation Systems (FANS) workstations inphased manner.
