SECTION 6VICTORIAN LOCAL RULES:These local rules have been put into place to help Victorian Carnivals runsmoothly. Please be aware that the Chief Referee has the discretion to over ruleor change as they see fit..1. Clubs may “borrow” without forming a composite team up to one (1) patientfor the Mass or Teams Races provided that the patient has been enteredfor that carnival.This rule does not apply to clubs who already have a team entered forthat event. This rule does not apply to the State Titles2. The Carnival referee on advice from appointed Medical Coordinator isgiven the discretion to remove a competitor(s) from the carnival on groundsof Safety.3. At the Victorian State Titles an up front $200? Appeal fee will apply for allappeals. This fee is fully refundable if the appeal is upheld. Any collectionof this fee shall have a receipt issued to the protesting club and incomereturned directly to the IRB Completion area.4. Clubs will be required to supply official’s, all of which MUST be accreditedand all of whom need to be members of the LSV affiliated clubs they willrepresent. Dependant on the number of teams they enter into said carnival.The highest number of teams (either Male or Female) that a club“ENTERS” “NOT STARTS” in any particular event will be used to calculatesaid clubs requirements.1 team = 1 official2 teams = 2 officials3 teams = 3 officials,4 teams = 4 officials,5 teams = 4 officials,6 teams = 4 officials,7 teams = 5 officials,8 teams = 5 officials,9 or more teams 6 accredited officialsE.g:A club has 3 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams entered; this club willneed to provide 3 officials.E.g 2: A club has 4 women’s teams and 2 men’s teams entered; this club willneed to provide 4 officials.5. Club who wish to borrow Officials (members of other club’s) need to getapproval “in writing” from the said official. Identifying that said Official ishappy to officiate with that club at the said event. The written approvalneed to have been received by the Manager of Surf Sports before theclose of entries for said carnival. Non receipt of written notification on time15 of 26
