Park InformationThe <strong>Crystal</strong> Parks and RecreationDepartments areactively seeking communityor neighborhood-orientedgroups to join the PARKPRIDE program. Thisprogram fits nicely withgroups looking for communityservice projectsand neighborhood groupsthat want to clean up,beautify, and develop pridein the parks in our community.This program requires a minimum<strong>of</strong> two clean-up visits to a specific park location in a one-yearperiod, and/or to provide a “Park Watch” service on a yearroundbasis and is open to community groups, civic organizations,churches, families and individual citizens. The park siteis chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Persons conductingleashed dogs must have in their possessionsuitable utensils for the removal <strong>of</strong> animal excrementand shall promptly and effectively remove all suchexcrement deposited by the animal under their control.This ordinance is enforced by the <strong>Crystal</strong> Police.Help us keep our parks clean for all <strong>of</strong> our residents.For your convenience, clean-up bags are availableat Bassett Creek, Lions Valley Place, Becker andTwin Lake Shores parks.CRYSTAL DOG PARKA special area in Bassett Creek Park hasbeen designed for canine companions.This fenced-in area has lots <strong>of</strong> space toroam <strong>of</strong>f-leash to exercise and socializeyour dog. Park hours are 6:00 am-10:00pm. The park is free. We ask park usersto follow these rules:• No children allowed without adult supervision at all times.• Owners must clean up and properly dispose <strong>of</strong> feces.• Dogs must be on leashes prior to entering and leaving the area.• No grooming in the dog park and surrounding area.• No food – human or pet – allowed.• Pets need to be properly licensed and vaccinated.• Owners must have verbal control <strong>of</strong> their pet(s) and must preventaggressive behavior and excessive barking. Aggressive dogsmust be removed immediately.• Never leave dogs unattended. Owners are legally responsible fortheir dogs and any injuries or damage caused by them.• Dogs in heat are not allowed inside the park.• Dogs registered as dangerous in any jurisdiction are not allowed.• Call the <strong>Crystal</strong> Park Dept at 763-531-1158 with maintenanceconcerns.• Call 911 for emergencies.DISC GOLF COURSEAT BASSETT CREEKA 12-hole Disc Golf Course is locatedat Bassett Creek Park.
