Shigella spp. diagnosisadjusting exclusion forfood employee whowas symptomatic andis now asymptomaticretaining exclusion forfood employee whowas asymptomatic andis now asymptomaticEHEC or STECdiagnosisadjusting exclusion forfood employee whowas symptomatic andis now asymptomaticretaining exclusion forfood employee whowas symptomatic andis now asymptomaticand works in foodestablishment servingHSPhepatitis A virus orjaundice diagnosis -removing exclusions(3) If a FOOD EMPLOYEE was diagnosed with an infectionfrom Shigella spp. and EXCLUDED as specified underSubparagraph 2-201.12(A)(2):(a) RESTRICT the FOOD EMPLOYEE, who is ASYMPTOMATICfor at least 24 hours and works in a FOODESTABLISHMENT not serving a HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLEPOPULATION, until the conditions for reinstatement asspecified under Subparagraphs (E)(1) or (2) of thissection are met; or(b) Retain the EXCLUSION for the FOOD EMPLOYEE, whois ASYMPTOMATIC for at least 24 hours and works in aFOOD ESTABLISHMENT that serves a HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLEPOPULATION, until the conditions for reinstatement asspecified under Subparagraphs (E)(1) or (2) , or (E)(1)and (3)(a) of this section are met.(4) If a FOOD EMPLOYEE was diagnosed with an infectionfrom ENTEROHEMORRHAGIC or SHIGA TOXIN-PRODUCINGESCHERICHIA COLI and EXCLUDED as specified underSubparagraph 2-201.12(A)(2):(a) RESTRICT the FOOD EMPLOYEE, who is ASYMPTOMATICfor at least 24 hours and works in a FOODESTABLISHMENT not serving a HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLEPOPULATION, until the conditions for reinstatement asspecified under Subparagraphs (F)(1) or (2) of thissection are met; or(b) Retain the EXCLUSION for the FOOD EMPLOYEE, whois ASYMPTOMATIC for at least 24 hours and works in aFOOD ESTABLISHMENT that serves a HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLEPOPULATION, until the conditions for reinstatement asspecified under Subparagraphs (F)(1) or (2) are met.(B) Reinstate a FOOD EMPLOYEE who was EXCLUDED asspecified under 2-201.12(B) if the PERSON IN CHARGE obtainsAPPROVAL from the REGULATORY AUTHORITY and one of thefollowing conditions is met;(1) The FOOD EMPLOYEE has been jaundiced for more than7 calendar days;36
