IntroductionThe goal of this chapter is to demonstrate how to apply l<strong>in</strong>ear regressionmodels to Austrian road accident fatalities data <strong>and</strong> how to determ<strong>in</strong>e if a trend<strong>in</strong> the counts of road accident fatalities can be derived. Theraw dataset imported to SPSS is shown <strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g table. The <strong>time</strong> variable“Y/M” <strong>and</strong> number of “Fatalities” can be seen.
