FIELDCOTE MEMORIAL PARK & MUSEUM - The exhibit and archives are open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment. You are invited to walk the trails anytime. Call 905-648-8144. ANCASTER HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY - For further information regarding upcoming events, please contact Christine DiMarco at 905-648-5134. Meetings are held at the Ancaster Old Town Hall on the third Tuesday of every month @ 7:30pm. Meeting are not held in July, August and December. HEARING AIDS FOR STUDENTS OVERSEAS Please bring in your old hearing aids to the Senior Centre, - any make or model, in any condition (they will be repaired and refurbished) and we will forward them to the local Ancaster contact. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF CANADA - provides support to Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers. Contact Alzheimer Society for Halton Wentworth at 905-529-7030. NEIGHBOUR TO NEIGHBOUR RESOURCE CENTRE - Food bank, resource counselling, literacy programs, etc. Monetary and food donations and volunteer services gratefully received. Donations can be made at the Senior Centre or call 905- 574-1334. TELE-TOUCH (SENIORS) Volunteers call senior citizens and individuals with disabilities on a regular basis providing a friendly conversation and reassurance. WESTFIELD HERITAGE VILLAGE - For information call 1-800-883-0104 or visit www.westfieldheritage.ca Ancaster Community Services MEALS ON WHEELS Lunch Program needs volunteers to deliver hot lunches to fellow residents in the Ancaster area. Also needed are drivers for our Assisted Volunteer Driving Program. If you have two hours a month to give your community, we would love to hear from you. A reliable vehicle is necessary. Before starting any physically strenuous classes, please check with your physician. ◊ �REFUNDS are only given if you contact the office when you get sick, to be eligible for the refund. If the class session is completed, no refunds can be issued. REGISTRATION for all classes must be done at the Centre. The City “RecConnect” will not register you for our programs.◊ Some classes may be cancelled if not enough register. Please check with the office. Membership rate is $28.80 and $40.90 for non-residents. CLASS REGISTRATIONS ON INTERNET You can now register your classes, scrambles or renew your membership online. Just go to our website www.asacseniors.ca, then go to ‘Classes’ and click on ‘Class Registration’. There you will find a catalog of activity categories. Select one and pick the activity by clicking on ‘Buy Now’. You can add any number of activities to ‘Your Cart’. When you ‘Checkout’ you will be asked for identification. When you ‘Submit Order’ you will enter Paypal which accepts your credit card, etc. in their secure site. You have the option to create accounts in Paypal and in our website, but you do not have to.
