Good World launches at<br />

World <strong>Market</strong> Center <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> announces major new green initiatives<br />

<strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> <strong>Market</strong> will be emphasizing sustainability more than ever as World <strong>Market</strong><br />

Center <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> announced a major eff ort to forward green initiatives beginning with<br />

the upcoming Winter <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> <strong>Market</strong>. Th e addition of these programs will motivate<br />

manufacturers and buyers to help reduce our carbon footprints.<br />

Th e wide sweeping program is called<br />

One Good World. It includes a new sustainable<br />

products locator program, a new<br />

digital newsletter and expanded educational<br />

off erings at <strong>Market</strong>, including<br />

prominent celebrity designers speaking<br />

on sustainability.<br />

“With the green economy coming<br />

fast, we realize that this is an increas-<br />

ingly important need for our industry,”<br />

says WMCLV President and CEO Robert<br />

Maricich. “Th ere’s a lot of good product<br />

out there, but it can be confusing and<br />

hard to fi nd. We are taking big steps to<br />

solve those problems immediately.”<br />

One component of this major initiative<br />

includes the One Good Guide—designed<br />

to help buyers fi nd legitimately sustain-<br />

makes it a priority to make environmentally conscious<br />

decisions in its own business operations and advocates for<br />

the entire trade show industry to do so. WMCLV regularly<br />

environmentally friendly products whenever possible.<br />
