Architectural Nylon<br />
nylon levers and pull handles are<br />
manufactured to exacting standards from<br />
polyamide nylon giving good tensile<br />
properties, impact strength and wear<br />
resistance. Nylon gives good antistatic<br />
behaviour and resistance to corrosion and<br />
chemicals. Soiling can be removed with water<br />
and/or propriety detergents.<br />
nylon levers are available in<br />
either solid nylon or steel cored. The steel<br />
cored being suitable for fire doors. All<br />
handles are available in 11 RAL colours.<br />
nylon levers are supplied<br />
complete with full profile spindle.<br />
Certain levers have been tested to severe<br />
duty category to PSA MOB H3 PS July 1989.<br />
The tests have been carried out by a NAMAS<br />
accredited testing laboratory (WC 0621). They<br />
are tested to PSA and meet the requirements<br />
of BS 4951:1973<br />
The AR600/20 levers have been included in a<br />
successful fire test in accordance with BS476<br />
part 22 1987 to provide 2 hour fire resistance.<br />
Pull handles are available in concealed screw<br />
fix, bolt fix or back to back fixing.<br />
Consideration should be given to the use of the<br />
handle and bolt fixing or back to back fixing,<br />
should be specified in high use situations.
