The patients will give a baseline breath sample every 20 minutes for 3 hours after ingestingthe lactose dosage using the manufacturers breath collection bags. These samples are then analysed on eachdevice and the readings compared to show agreement.ConclusionThe CH4 readings were agreeable in trend between the GastroCH4ECK and Breath Tracker but the Lactotest 202was not and appeared quite erratic. With patient 1 the Lactotest 202 appeared to present a false positive reading.The H2 readings were agreeable in trend between the GastroCH4ECK, Breath Tracker and Lactotest 202.Note - All three analysers were calibrated according to the manufacturer's instructions using the three differentmanufacturer's gas. Also readings were taken from 3 different breath samples on each patient collection. This couldtherefore potentially cause some reading differences with regard to the PPM result.Patient 1 - MaleAnalyser H2 CH4 O2/CO2% Correction FactorCorrectedH2CorrectedCH4GastroCH4ECK 3 1 16.1 1.45 4 120 2 1 18.1 2.33 4 240 3 1 17.4 2 6 260 2 0 16.7 1.66 3 080 1 1 18.1 2.33 2 2100 2 1 17.8 2.25 4 2120 2 1 16 1.42 2 1140 2 1 16.5 1.59 3 1160 2 1 17.6 2.12 4 2Lactotest 202 0 0 3.14 0 020 4 4 3.34 4 440 2 4 4.08 2 460 1 5 4.83 1 580 1 8 4.78 1 9100 1 13 4.01 1 17120 1 8 4.61 1 9140 1 2 4.78 1 2160 2 2 4.36 2 2Quintron 0 0 3.6 0 020 3 0 3.4 1.6 5 040 2 0 3.5 1.5 3 060 1 0 4.2 1.3 1 080 0 0 3.6 1.5 0 0100 0 0 3.7 1.5 0 0120 0 0 4 1.4 0 0140 0 0 4.4 1.2 0 0160 0 0 4 1.7 0 0
