March has finally arrived and in
Las Vegas it is eventful. This is the
time of year when the average high
temperature in Las Vegas is 69 F, and
the average low temperature is
44 F; definitely nice temperatures
to enjoy a bit of walking and swing
a golf club or two. Rainfall barely
exists with the average at .42” and
humidity at 22%. Stay in town, the
weather is just right to do almost
anything you want.
Enjoy the annual Las Vegas
extravaganza – the NASCAR Sprint
Cup Series. Also popular are the month-long World Series of Poker,
Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals, Las Vegas Marathon, Fremont
Street Mardi Gras, NHRA Nationals, Blue Sky International Film
Festival and Greek Food Festival.
March Madness is when the countdown for the Collegiate National
Basketball Championship will be under way. March Madness in
Vegas is exactly what it sounds like…Madness! Swarms of bettors
from around the country flock to Vegas to make their picks. This
weekend isn’t just for gamblers, but spring-breakers too!
Along with great Vegas events, get ready to shed some clothing.
You’ll feel it in the air; it’s time to start dusting off the lounge chairs
– the pool season is about to begin! If you enjoy golf, the conditions
in March are superb. For many people, twilight on the golf course in
March is nothing less than blissful.

March offers some of the best walking weather in Las Vegas. Spring
is all about the bright sunshine and the crisp air on the Las Vegas
Strip. Walking along the Strip in the middle of the day is neither too
cold nor too hot. Go ahead, put in a few miles up and down the Strip,
and then, have a fabulous lunch at a spot like Spagos or Mon Ami
Gabi where you can watch people walk by.
And for you show-goers, enjoy some wonderful concerts and events.
These include the RMI Appreciation events at Aliante Casino - “Jack
Walker & friends Variety show” and comedian “dave Burleigh.”
In Las Vegas, enjoy Ron White, Celine Dion, George Thorogood &
The Destroyers, Bill Engvail, Chicago, Diamond Rio, Bela Fleck and
the Flecktones, Rodney Carrington, The Very Best of Andrew Lloyd
Webber, Jay Leno, The Canadian Tenors, Carlos Mencia, Rod Stewart
and John Pinette.

beginning of every Board meeting, there is a member comment
period for comments relating to agenda items only. At the end
of every Board meeting, there is a member comment period for
comments on any subject. During this period, the Board will hear
member comments. The Board of Directors will not take action on
comments or requests made during the comment periods.

(www.scalnlv.com). Copies of the minutes from a Board of Directors
meeting are available from the Association Office after approval by
the Board of Directors. Audio copies of a Board of Directors meeting
are available from the Association Office after the minutes have been
approved by the Board of Directors. The Association Office is located
at 7394 Aliante Parkway, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89084. Office
Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The telephone
number for obtaining an agenda is 638-5000.
The President of the Sun City Aliante Community Association has
scheduled a Board of Directors meeting or an Executive Session of
the Board of Directors on the second Wednesday of every month.
It is at the discretion of the President to cancel either or both
meetings.
