Historical Museum in Downtown Joliet! The museum is
truly a state of the art glimpse into Joliet’s past. Complete
with Route 66 themed welcome center, the museum also
showcases the canal workers of Joliet, a working moon
landing simulator, and so much more! The museum
focuses on bringing history to life, with elements that
are truly fun for all ages.
Home to two higher learning institutions, Joliet has a
proud tradition of learning and exploring. Established in
1901, Joliet Junior College is the nation’s oldest junior
college. With a full catalog of course options, JJC is the
perfect start or return to college for students continuing
their education. With their expanding campus of friendly,
diverse and focused staff, students are sure to succeed.
The University of St. Francis is Joliet’s four year
university, offering over 60 undergraduate degree
programs in addition to graduate degree services.
