<strong>Trust</strong> <strong>Building</strong> <strong>Activities</strong>Circle SwayAimThis game is aimed to see if the team members trust one another to ensure they don’t falland to build trust within the group.Set UpEveryone stands together in a close circle. One person nominates themselves to stand in themiddle of the circle. The person that is in the middle stands with their legs crossed andhands by their sides. The person in the middle should be very relaxed so that team matescan move them around in a swaying action.<strong>Trust</strong> WalkingAimGet an insight into the levels of trust and levels of communication between the teammembers.Set UpGet the group to split up into two’s. One person in the pair closes their eyes while the othergroup member becomes the leader. The leader then gives the person with their eyes closeddirections around an area. (This area may have obstacles, such as cones etc.)SafetyIt is important for this activity that the leaders give clear and concise instructions to thepeople with their eyes closed. It is also important that there is no horseplay and thatindividuals are safe through-out the activity.


<strong>Trust</strong> TagAimBuild trust within the group.Set UpIn this exercise everybody stands in a line and they move their arms up and down in front ofthem like they are slicing and dicing. There are people either side of the line moving theirarms up and down.One person then goes to the top of the line and walks down through the line. Each personwalking through the line is thrusting that the group does not hit them with their arms whilethey walk through the line that they have made. Everybody in the group must walk throughthe line. This exercise builds trust within the group because with everybody’s arms movingit’s up to them to not hit you as you walk through the line.
