The proposal is for opening a new Hadla Lignite Mine Project 1.62MTPA normative with a peak capacity of 1.90 MTPA in a total ML area of 1567 ha) of M/s Neyveli LigniteCorporation Ltd. to be located at in Tehsil Kolayar, district Bikaner, Rajasthan The proposal was lastconsidered in the EAC (T&C) meeting held on 3 rd -4 th January <strong>2012</strong> and the details/clarifications soughtby the EAC were further considered.The Proponent made the presentation. It was informed that based on the TOR, the requirement of landof the ML area was reworked and reduced from 2001.61 ha to 1607 ha and about 400 ha including nonmineralisedareas and areas with habitation have been surrendered to minimise the extent of R&R. Noforestland is involved.
