The radial free-fall of particles towarda central mass, the possibility of planar motions, and theperihelion advance are examined in comparison with thegeodetic motion in the Schwarzchild space-time andastrophysical data. Thisdetection window is available due to the specific decaysin flight of tau-leptons which produce very inclinedairshowers at low altitudes above the SD array. In searching for additional detectionchannels including muon neutrinos, we consider thetransition effects of residual radiation of direct pairproduction and bremsstrahlung or photonuclearreaction induced by skimming heavy charged leptons ata Cherenkov SD array, such as the operating SouthernPAO or the future Auger Nord Project. An estimationapplied to a model spherical earth surface shows amoderate effect of inclined electromagnetic showers fortriggering neighbouring local Cherenkov SD stations.The covering effective energy range is below the GZKcut-off region. The accidental coincidences and othersources of systematic uncertainties are discussed andthe identification criteria are proposed. A furtherattempt for realistic detection of skimming neutrinosshould include detailed topographic conditions of agiven SD array. Analytic expressions for the nonlinear absorptioncoefficient of a strong electromagnetic wave by confinedelectrons in cylindrical quantum wires with parabolicpotential are calculated by using the quantum kineticequation for electrons in two cases: electron-opticalphonon scattering and electron-acoustic phononscattering. The dependence of the nonlinear absorptioncoefficient on the intensity E0 and frequency Ω of theexternal strong electromagnetic wave, the temperature Tof the system, the radius R of wire is obtained. Theanalytic expressions are numerically calculated anddiscussed for GaAs/GaAsAl quantum wires. Scatteringby surface roughness and misfit deformation potentialare found significantly weaker than those in thereference single-side doped sample. Thus, symmetricmodulation of the wave-function is proposed as anefficient method for mobility enhancement in squareQWs. The group velocity isanisotropically renormalized, while it is unchanged atall for states with wavevector in one direction but isreduced to zero in another. The deviceconsists of a quantum cascade structure embedded in aplanar metal-dielectric microcavity where electrons can beresonantly injected at different energies, thanks to thepolariton dispersion curve. from abundant materials and compatible with economicmanufacturing processes, to commercial maturity.Although these devices are cheaper than their crystallinesilicon predecessors, they are usually also less efficient.In our research, we design nano-engineered materials thatwill improve energy conversion efficiencies while retainingthin-film manufacturing costs. We propose to boost thelight trapping within thin-film silicon solar cells byexploiting the adjustable aspect ratio of silicon nanowires.Batches of doped silicon nanowires are grown via plasmaenhanced VLS and coated in silicon so as to produce a PINjunction. The catalysts for the nanowire’s growth areproduced by reducing with a hydrogen plasma thetransparent conducting oxide layer on a standard PVindustry SnO2 substrate. By adapting the nanowires’length and thickness, we exert control over the cell’stexturing. This leads to promising light trapping effects,achieved in a single-pump down process.Working devices are reported with open circuit voltages ashigh as 0,80V. We present their I(V) characteristics andspectral response curves and discuss some of therecombination paths that may currently be limiting theperformance of these cells. (where q is the acousticwave number). A nonlinear dependence of theacoustoelectric current jac on the constant electric fieldE is obtained by using classical kinetic Boltzman’sequation. Caculated in the case relaxation time ofmomentum is constant approximation. Numericalcaculations is done, and the result is discussed for atypical GaAs/AlAs SL. It is noted that when the electricfield is negative the current jac falls, reaches aminimum and rises. On the other hand, when theelectric field is positive the current increases, reaches amaximum and then falls off. A similar observation hasbeen noted acoustoelectric interaction in a multilayeredstructure resulting from the analysis of Si/SiO2structure. Thedependence of the absorption coefficient on thefrequency ($\Omega$), the amplitude ($E_0$) ofexternal strong electromagnetic wave, the temperature($T$) of the system, doping concentration ($n_D$) ofdoped superlattices and the period ($d$) ofcompositional superlattices is obtained. Two cases forthe absorption: Close to the absorption threshold $| k\hbar \Omega_0 | \ll \bar{\epsilon}$ and far awayfrom the absorption threshold $ | k \hbar \Omega_0 |\gg \bar{\epsilon}$ ($k = 0,\pm 1,\pm 2,...$; $\hbar\omega_0$ and $\bar{\epsilon}$ and $ε$ are thefrequency of optical phonon and the average energy ofelectron, respectively) are considered. success in calculating these quantities of synthesized SMMs,however, discussion about magneto-structural correlationsof SMMs as well as suggestion for designing new SMMs arestill missing. In this study, we focus on exploring magnetostructuralcorrelations of a fascinating SMM system, i.e.distorted cubane Mn 4+ Mn 3+ 3 SMMs based on Densityfunctionaltheory (DFT), to support for tailoring J ij of SMMs,as well as for designing high T B SMMs.Firstly, our calculated results demonstrate that intramolecularexchange coupling of known Mn 4+ Mn 3+ 3 SMMs is dominatedby antiferromagnetic (AFM) couplings between the Mn 4+ ionsand the three Mn 3+ ions resulting in a ferrimagnetic structureand S T = 9/2 consistent with the experimental observation. Themechanism of AFM Mn 4+ -Mn 3+ coupling (J AB ) is determinedby delocalization of 3d electrons from the d z 2 orbitals at theMn 3+ sites to the t 2g orbitals at the Mn 4+ site through ligandorbitals which results in the π-like hybridization states amongthese orbitals just below the Fermi level. These results allowsus to predict that J AB will be strongest when the Mn 3+ -L-Mn 4+exchange coupling angle α ≈ 90 o , while synthesized Mn 4SMMs have α ≈ 95 o .Secondly, by rational variations in ligands, novel Mn 4+ Mn 3+ 3SMMs, having S T of 9/2, α in a range of 88.5 o −95.5 o , andJ AB /k B in a range of −36.77 K to −214.79 K, have beendesigned. The results confirm the correlation between J ABand α. Moreover, this work reveals first possibilities ofadopting N based ligands, NR’ (R’ = a radical), to formexcellent exchange pathways between Mn ions in Mn 4 SMMs.Adopting N based ligands to form exchange pathwaysbetween Mn ions can enhance three times of J AB incomparison to using O. Variation in the R’ radical isdemonstrated as an effective way to tailor and optimize theexchange pathways between Mn ions.In conclusion, we have succeeded in exploring magnetostructuralcorrelation in Mn 4 SMMs based on DFT. The hexagonal wire size ranging as 10-16-22and triangular wire ranging from 10-13-16-20. Weinvestigate the unsaturated dangling bond state in theregion of bandgap with varying the wire’s diameter. Wealso calculated the surface formation energy and findthat it decrease with increasing the wire diameter and agreater stability (lower surface formation energy) comeswith hexagonal wires. The simulation revealsthat most Si atoms are four-fold coordinated, whereasthe coordination of Li atoms are four-, five-, six-fold. Weobserve a clear corelation between the lithiumconcentration and mobility of silicon and oxygen. The simulationreveals some specific properties for interstitial diffusionin amorphous solids compared to crystal.
