AUDIO CHOICESBelltoneGarrett's Coin Alert Belltone, which isthe factory Audio setting for the GTI, willsignal the operator with a special ringingsound whenever a target of high conductivity(first nine segments from righton the Upper Scale), such as a coin, hasbeen located. Other acceptable targets willcause an audio increase.If you wish to use the Belltone audioenhancement for target sounds, no actionis necessary at factory settings. To turnoff this function use MENU to display theword, press and the letters will beginblinking. Pressing (+) will turn it back on.Bi-LevelTwo distinctly different types of soundare produced when the Bi-Level audioenhancement is being used. Targets ofhigher conductivity produce a higherpitchedsound.
