Welcome from the Head of Volleyball<br />
2012/2013 promises to be a busy and exciting year for Volleyball at <strong>Dulwich</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
<strong>Shanghai</strong>. This is my second year at the college and I was so impressed with the<br />
enthusiasm and improvement shown in our volleyball players last year. There<br />
are lots of keen and able students waiting to get started in Season 1 who will be<br />
competing in our senior D1 and D2 teams. We will have a busy training schedule<br />
and will strive to improve our performances as individuals but more importantly<br />
as a collective team with each game played. I’m very much looking forward to<br />
welcoming both existing players and new players to get started in August. The<br />
season for junior players will be starting around February for our developing junior<br />
teams. There was some strong talent in these teams last year and these students<br />
enjoyed competing in some very close matches.<br />
I would like to encourage as much parent support as possible, especially for our home games. The support<br />
and cheering really does boost the confidence of our players and motivates them even more to play to their<br />
best.<br />
