(ormerly H. Kwanso Flore Pleno) Robust bold clumps topped<br />

with sumptuous bright orange double flowers which last longer<br />

than single flowered Hemerocallis. Not pretty but spectacular,<br />

consisting of a flower within a flower .<br />

Broad strong leaves boldly striped in cleanest white, often more<br />

white than green. Double orange flowers. 3ft.<br />

Chrome yellow flowers with bronze petal backs. Free flowering.<br />

Sixteenth-century garden plant. Clear yellow flowers with an<br />

unforgetable fragrance produced in late spring. 2½ft.<br />

This lovely shrubby perennial Hibiscus grows wild in moist<br />

places in parts of the USA. It has huge scarlet flowers, very<br />

elegant, and slender palmate leaves. Fully hardy despite its<br />

delicate looks. About 5-6ft tall.<br />

Copper coloured deeply dissected leaves provide an ideal foil for<br />

enormous pale pink flowers with a strawberry red eye. Compact<br />

at 3-4ft, ideal for a container or bedding out. Hardy in mild areas,<br />

otherwise best with some winter protection.<br />
