HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmet SystemThe HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmet System isdesigned to keep pace with innovations in flighttechnology and emerging mission scenarios, theHGU-56/P helmet system offers modular engineeringfor cross-platform use within multiple U.S. Army,U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard, Law Enforcementand civilian rotary aircraft. The helmet’s enhanceddesign features a multitude of options to improveaircrew personnel fit, functionality, mission adaptabilityand essential head safety and protection.Impact testing is accomplished at high and ambienttemperature only and headform deceleration is limitedto 150G in the crown and 175G in the headbandarea.
