A resolution of 400 x 240 pixels and the16:9 format offer excellent display possibilities. The transflectiveTFT technology guarantees outstanding readability in daylight andeven in direct sunshine. The backlit display and keys provide foreasy use, even in darkness. 4 keys and a pressure-sensitive incrementalpotentiometer facilitate entering or modifying data. Thedisplays can be used in 4 mounting positions: 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°.Functionality and flexibilityRM Display Color 2501/2503 are very flexible in industrial andmobile applications, they are equipped with a large input powersupply ranging from 9 V to 60 V with operating voltages of 12 V,24 V and 48 V. They operate in a temperature range of –30 °C to+65 °C. A special feature of the hardware is the circular 12-pin connectorfor directly connecting a camera or a CameraBox 0401 tothe display. The camera box can operate up to 4 cameras simultaneouslyin conjunction with the displays. The displays also have 2circular 5-pin connectors used to connect to the CAN bus and supplypower in daisy-chain fashion, so an expensive T-connector is notneeded. In addition, RM Display Color 2503 has 3 analog inputsand 2 digital outputs.Easily extendable using the C interfaceRM Display Color 2501/2503 function as slaves or masters. The firmwaregenerates and transmits cyclic and asynchronous CAN messageswhile the displays are capable of simultaneously respondingto up to 130 received CAN messages. Additional flexibility is providedby your ability to modify parameter settings during operationas well as to parameterize other CAN nodes with the help of thedisplays. The firmware automatically recognizes PAL and NTSC videosources when operated with up to four cameras.
