The amazing stainlesssteel clad structure - complete withKalzip aluminium roofing - is thecentrepiece of the Salford Quays areaand is established as one of the city’smost popular arts and leisure venues.The roof sections comprise more than6,000 square metres of Kalzip 400profile. The architects commented, “Wechose Kalzip for reasons of economyand speed of construction. Much of theroof is constructed in stainless steel,but we needed the central areas to bemade watertight quickly.
