The small chromeactuator Motor, mounted to the right front frame tube, receives thesignal from the handlebar switch and opens and shuts the DiverterValves via heavy duty cables.When the Diverter Valves are closed, theexhaust gases are routed through the outer baffles, reducing theexhaust sound volume to a lower level. When the Diverter Valves areopened, the exhaust gases flow through the straight pipe down thecenter of the muffler,resulting in more sound volume and greater engineperformance.
