ITS#FASHIONHello everyone,I’m excited to take part again in ITS as amember of the ITS#SEVEN Fashion Jury.I’ve seen over the years how much thisproject can impact future fashion careers. There’s a very human approach to thefinal event in which the goal is to treatall the participants as winners and boostthem towards success. Each gets to meettop fashion professionals who contributecoaching and advice, and this simple stepcreates goodwill and positive energy foreveryone, and I believe has helped ITSevolve today into a sort of worldwidenetwork in which amazing ideas andcreativity gets exchanged. This event will always stand out for itsdemocratic attitude, in which there are nopreconceptions allowed regarding any ofthe schools which participate. In this wayevery student has the exact same chance tolet their ideas and creativity speak for itself.I want to acknowledge the many peoplefrom Diesel who’ve worked so hardsupporting this project over the years, farbeyond just the Diesel prize, and of course Ithank ITS for allowing me again the chanceto contribute to discovering the fashiondesigners of the future!Wilbert DasDiesel Creative DirectorITS#FASHION is an international competition for fashiondesign students and young fashion designers.
