COMPANIONS ACTIVITIESOn Friday, June 28th, all companions are welcome to joinRiver City Trolley for a fabulous all day tour of Wichita.The day will start when the companions will be picked up by oneof River City’s famous Trolleys at 9:30am and enjoy a two hourDiscover Wichita Historic Tour with our own private trolley andguide. Step back in time to the days of Carrie Nation, WyattEarp and the early aviation pioneers. Learn about Wichita’scolorful and storied history from our knowledgeable guide. The 1 1/2 hour narrated tour windsalong the Arkansas River and throughout the Delano area intodowntown, Midtown and Old town to some of Wichita’s mosthistoric neighborhoods. Relax aboard our air-conditioned 1925style trolley as we will then make a stop in Old Town and enjoy agreat lunch at Larkspur Bistro, one of Old Town’s most famousrestaurants.After lunch the trolley willtransport everyone to theWorld Treasures Museumthat is famous for memorabilia from athletes, actors,presidents, and public figures going back severalhundred years. After our tour of the World TreasuresMuseum is complete, we will move on to Karg Glass inthe small town of Kechi, just outside of Wichita. AtKarg Glass you will see glass blowing demonstrations, beable to shop, and receive a complimentary gift from Karg.Karg GlassUpon completion in Kechi, the trolley will return all companions back to the DoubleTree by3:30pm with plenty of time to get ready for dinner and the exciting live auction.This tour is complimentary to all registered TTCF Companions. You may register for thisevent on page 3 of the Member Registration Packet and page 4 of the Vendor RegistrationPacket.6On Saturday, June 29th, companions can attend a specialcompanions cooking class and luncheon featuring the DoubleTree’shead chef as their host. This event will start at 12:00pm and continueuntil 1:30 pm as the chef shows you some great cooking tips and youenjoy a great lunch. This is a no charge event to all registered TTCFCompanions, but please register on page 3 of the MemberRegistration Packet or page 4 of the Vendor Registration Packet.
