The Board <strong>of</strong> Education approves a trip for the <strong>Jackson</strong> Memorial High <strong>School</strong> wrestlingteam to attend the Beast <strong>of</strong> the East Tournament, Friday, December 19, 2008-Sunday,December 21, 2008, to be held at the University <strong>of</strong> Delaware, Newark, Delaware, cost tothe <strong>District</strong> being entry fees and district transportation to and from the event.9. The Board <strong>of</strong> Education approves a trip for <strong>Jackson</strong> Memorial and Liberty High <strong>School</strong> artstudents to attend National Portfolio Day at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York onSaturday, November 15, 2008, cost to the Board being transportation.10. The Board <strong>of</strong> Education approves a trip for the <strong>Jackson</strong> Liberty High <strong>School</strong> chorusstudents to New York City on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 to participate in a “MakingMusic” workshop and attend an evening performance <strong>of</strong> “Phantom <strong>of</strong> the Opera”, at no costto the Board.11. The Board <strong>of</strong> Education approves the use <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Jackson</strong> Pop Warner Complex onManhattan Street as an alternate site for the <strong>Jackson</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> for practices and eventscancelled due to inclement weather or relocated for unforeseen reasons.12.
