Biography:<br />
Nathan is currently a product manager at Doximity, a startup building a private professional<br />
network for physicians with mobile, HIPAA-compliant communications. Prior to HBS, Nathan was<br />
a fourth-year M.D. candidate at the Emory University <strong>School</strong> of Medicine and a researcher at the<br />
Andreas Gruentzig Cardiovascular Center, investigating effi cacy and safety of percutaneous aortic<br />
valve replacement. During this time, he was the lead developer of the institution’s web portal and<br />
facilitated several healthcare delivery projects in Haiti. Prior to medical school, he conducted<br />
research on economic and political barriers to implementation of electronic medical record systems.<br />

Biography:<br />
Jose spent this summer working for Genentech in one of their Brand Teams, where he recommended<br />
a marketing strategy for a new product launch. Prior to HBS, Jose worked at Birmex, a state-owned<br />
Mexican pharmaceutical company, as Project Manager of the Infl uenza vaccine. He coordinated<br />
the $1.5Bn joint venture between Sanofi Pasteur and Birmex to produce the vaccine in Mexico.<br />
Previously, Jose worked at McKinsey & Company in several projects in the healthcare, banking,<br />
and telecommunications industries. While studying a Master’s in Bioscience at the University of<br />
Cambridge, he co-founded CamStent, a biotechnology company focused on proprietary polymer<br />
coatings. He also interned at Atlas Ventures, a venture capital fi rm, focusing on European<br />
biotechnology companies.<br />

Biography:<br />
Kouki is a PhD biomedical scientist with a breadth of experience in cellular biology, clinical research,<br />
R&D, corporate strategy, business development, and venture capital. After his PhD, he spent three<br />
years working as a senior R&D scientist at Novartis. He spent Summer <strong>20</strong>09 working as a consultant<br />
to Sofi nnova Ventures. He provided market and due-diligence analyses on drug programs seeking<br />
capital. He then spent Summer <strong>20</strong><strong>10</strong> working in the <strong>Business</strong> Development group at Genentech.<br />
He was part of a team that closed a $12M oncology drug development deal and led negotiations to<br />
pursue new indications for an existing biologic.<br />

Biography:<br />
Phoebe interned in Codman, a neurodevice company, past summer. During which, she developed a<br />
marketing plan for a Class III medical device product launch in US, estimated 400M market size,<br />
proposed communication plan to introduce the programmable infusion pump therapy to multiple<br />
stakeholders, and coordinated with clinical team to develop professional education materials and<br />
internal training tools that will impact 900 neurosurgeons and clinicians. Previously, she worked in<br />
Unilever for three years in customer marketing and brand management.<br />
