2 Operation / 3 SOS mode2.6 Active backlightThe display of TEC can be illuminated both on the surface andunderwater.The backlight can be activated by pushing and holding buttonfor 1 second. The light will turn off automatically after 8seconds or after the time selected via SmartTRAK.The backlight can only be activated if the computer display is on.WARNINGThe active backlight is no substitutefor a dive torch. Other than that the SOSmode has no further impact on the displays and functions on the surface.• Serious injury or death may result if a diver doesWARNING not seek immediate treatment should any signsor symptoms of decompression sickness occurafter a dive.• Do not dive to treat symptoms of decompression sickness!• Diving in SOS mode is extremely dangerous and you must assume fullresponsibility for such behaviour.
