Application<br />

The <strong>Clinac</strong> <strong>Main</strong> <strong>Breaker</strong> <strong>Panel</strong> is a custom panel that serves<br />

as the main power disconnect between the <strong>Clinac</strong> system and<br />

the facility 240V or 208V power source. The panel provides<br />

emergency disconnection and overcurrent protection, and<br />

will maintain the main breaker undervoltage (UVR) holding<br />

circuit during any loss of power. The (battery backup)<br />

holding circuit is disabled whenever any emergency off<br />

pushbutton is pressed. The standardized design provides a<br />

platform for future upgrades of the system. The panel offers<br />

the customer, specifier, and the installer a number of<br />

advantages by combining a variety of individual components<br />

into a single pre-engineered and factory tested panel. Each<br />

panel is UL and cUL listed for compliance <strong>with</strong> the<br />

approvals required by NEC Article 100 and Article 110-3.<br />

The main circuit breaker is wired to the <strong>Clinac</strong> system and<br />

provides immediate shut down of the entire system to<br />

comply <strong>with</strong> NEC required disconnecting means. The panel<br />

may be surface or semi-flush mounted, and can be utilized<br />

for a variety of applications where low-voltage control of the<br />

main power source is desired.<br />

Application<br />

The On-Board Imager (OBI) <strong>Circuit</strong> breaker panel is a custom<br />

panel, which serves as the main power, disconnect between the<br />

x-ray system and the facility 480V power source. The panel<br />

provides emergency shut down and overcurrent protection for<br />

the x-ray system.<br />

The standardized design provides a platform for future<br />

upgrades of the system. The panel offers the customer and the<br />

VRJB-C3 Relay Junction Box<br />

for <strong>Varian</strong> Medical Systems<br />

Applications<br />

The VRJB-C3 Relay Junction Box provides an interface <strong>with</strong> the <strong>Varian</strong><br />

<strong>Clinac</strong> via a factory assembled and tested control panel designed to provide<br />

a convenient, organized, labor saving central connection point for the Laser<br />

positioning system status warning lights, room lighting, and door interlocks<br />

and remote emergency off pushbuttons. The panel includes wiring diagrams<br />

to enable it to be used as a radial junction and control point simplifying the<br />

connection of the various systems. Multiple terminals are dedicated for<br />

connecting these devices. The Relay Junction box has a Short <strong>Circuit</strong><br />

Current Rating of 5,000 amperes @ 120 volts AC. The panel is UL and cUL<br />

listed and is in compliance <strong>with</strong> the NEC articles 100 and 100.3. The Relay<br />

Junction Box is designed for wall mounting.<br />
