KPS Petrol Pipe SystemKPS is a well-renowedcompany based inSweeden, , with a long hystory. . The companyhas it’s s origins 450 years ago. For manyyears, manufacturing of wood products wasthe foundation of the business, until 1950when the wood was replaced with plastic.In 1978 the firs plastic product related to petrolwas launched – a fuel hose <strong>for</strong> SAAB Motors.In 1996 the company cemented itsnew strategic direction with the launch of theKPS Petrol Pipe System brand, positioningKPS as a worldwide supplier of petrol pipe:Sweeden, , England, France, China andMalaysia.

Unique constructionKPS pipes have a unique construction with three layers joined by chemical,molecular bonding. This results in the most efficient permeation barrier on themarket, preventing hydrocarbons from diffusing through the pipe wall.Thanks to it unique liner technology and itdedication to product quality, KPS was in 2005the first company on the market to receive EN14125 approval (thermoplastic and flexible metalpipework <strong>for</strong> underground installation at petrolfilling stations).

KPS Petrol Pipe SystemThe pipes and fittings are made from hight density Polyethylene (PEHD).The KPS pipe wall have the most efficient permeation barrier which prevent diffusing theliquid.The KPS Petrol Pipe System Conductive version is very easy to install: throught the socketThe inspection (check out) is effectuate by testing the KPS system on high pressure, wehave two steps:• Dynamic-4 bar pressure• Static-0.7 Bar PressureThere are two types of conductive pipesand fittings:• Conductive petrol pipes and fittings withsingle wall• Conductive Pipes double wall, the inner spacecan be monitorized by a leak detector.The specific components necessary to createand secure a conductive technological installation are:• KPS Conductive piping and fittings• KP CC connectors used in every joint

Zero permeabilityThe test has been running <strong>for</strong> <strong>for</strong>more than 3 years!! Result ispermeation 0,000-0,001gram/m²/day.IP /PL approved permeation limits compared toKPS extra version 5The official test period isnormally 6 months and in orderto pass the EN 14125 (Europeanlevel) the permeation must belower than 0,2 gram/m²/day.This means that we are 200 timeslower! We know as a fact that wecan challange any othermanufacturer <strong>for</strong> permeation, noother supplier has our lowvalues!

The official pressureThe complete pipesystem are approved and rated <strong>for</strong> PN 10 bar.PN stands <strong>for</strong> water and air and this is equal to 6 bar <strong>for</strong> petrol. PN 10 is theoffical pressure rating. KPS has also developed a LPG pipe that is approved <strong>for</strong>25 bar

KPS ConductivityThe KPS Petrol Pipe System Conductive version is very easyto install. When used it offers the following advantages:• It completely eliminates the build-up ofstatic electricity inside the piping therebyeliminating any static discharges in oraround the piping.This offers a major advantage compared toplastic non-conductive piping.• The conductive properties are such that aKPS Conductive System prevents passageof stray currents. This offers an advantageto conventional steel pipe system (apartfrom the obvios anti-corrosive properties.The specific components necessary to create and secure a conductive pipe run are:KPS Conductive pipingKP CC connectors used in every jointKPS Conductivity Tester or an insulation meter
