‣ Driven by the increasing power demand and policieson energy conservation and emission reduction, USCpower generation technology was rapidly promoted inChina.‣By the end of 2009, nineteen 1000MW USC units hadbeen put into operation in China with sixty eight unitsunder construction, and twenty 600MW USC units putinto operation with fifty units under construction. OrderedUSC units had accumulated to the capacity of 200GW.‣As the priority option for Chinese power generationenterprises to develop coal-fired power stations, 1000MWand 600MW USC units have become leading units in thenewly built capacity in China’s thermal power industry.
