At present, Turkey produces aboutUS$ 30 billion worth of textile and clothingproducts and exports about US$ 20 billion worthof them.Since the Turkish textile and clothing industryis a world giant in terms of production andexports, the sector needs textile and clothingsupplies in large quantity and in wide variety.Therefore, the textile and clothing suppliesindustry, which was established to meet theneeds of the domestic textile and clothingindustry, has shown significant developmentand now serves the world textile and clothingindustry as well.
