Despite two dramaticeconomic declines since 2000, the <strong>Foundation</strong>’s investment servicesprogram has continued to grow and is stronger than ever.o Being a faith-based investor. We seek to fulfill our fiduciary responsibility byensuring that the resources we manage reflect our faith values. By sponsoringshareholder resolutions and engaging in dialogue with key corporate managers,the <strong>Foundation</strong> works to influence the way global companies conduct business,use resources and treat employees and the environment. We are in partnershipwith the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility. ICCR, a coalition <strong>of</strong> faithbasedinstitutional investors, raises a prophetic voice <strong>of</strong> faith by seeking to builda more just and sustainable society by integrating social values into corporateand investor decisions.o Living out our faith in all aspects <strong>of</strong> our ministry. People, regardless <strong>of</strong> means,have concerns, hopes and a need for significance—to make a difference in theworld. Our development <strong>of</strong>ficers, through their work with individuals andcongregations, listen to donors’ and investors’ needs, share their joys, join intheir vision for the future, protect their interests and reassure them <strong>of</strong> God’spresence in their lives and in the world. The <strong>Foundation</strong> seeks to bringwholeness with a personal presence to congregations, pastors and individuals.o Through 2012, <strong>Foundation</strong> development staff:• Made 523 personal visits to donors and donor prospects• Visited 471 congregational pastors• Led 94 inheritance planning seminars for congregations and otherministries• Preached 57 sermons on planned giving• Conducted 93 investment seminars for leaders <strong>of</strong> church ministries• Met with 46 congregations to assist in the development <strong>of</strong>endowment fund policies• Encouraged congregations to create their own planned givingministries. Workshops called Blessing Generation to Generationhelped better articulate for pastors and church leaders the value <strong>of</strong>permanent funds to enhance future ministries. More than a dozen<strong>of</strong> these special events were conducted in 2012 in various regions.Several similar events were held in partnership with the Center onFaith and Giving.o Inspiring trust, honesty and transparency.
