The values are representative of the Bonanza. Looking atFig. (2) shows that there is a large decrease in both the velocity (TAS) for maximum glide distance<strong>and</strong> the actual distance you can glide from a given altitude when you lower the gear <strong>and</strong>/or theflaps.
