So rapidly, in fact, that Icannot believe that I have alreadybeen in Les Roches for two fullyears.The School has gone through aperiod of significant change. Wehave now become a Four Year EducationalInstitution delivering ourown Bachelor of Science in InternationalHospitality. Besides this, LesRoches is the first Hotel ManagementSchool in Switzerland to obtainaccreditation at baccalaureate levelfrom the New England Associationof Schools and Colleges, Inc. USA.The first group of students followingthe Bachelor of Scienceunder our management will graduateon May 20th, 1998. It will be amilestone in the annals of LesRoches, and if you are in this area,you are most welcome to attend thehistoric event.This latest exercise of accreditationhas changed the managementstyle of the school. Now all parties,faculty, staff, and students areinvolved in the management process.They participate in a consultantrole within our strategic developmentconcept. You, theAlumni, are also a part of thisplan.More and more, we shall be invitingthe Alumni to demonstratetheir loyalty and attachment to theSchool. This will be done throughthe organisation of talks, seminars,participation at the GraduationCeremonies, etc.From out there in your dailydealings in the industry, we wouldwelcome all news about the latesttrends and innovations you haveRadisson SASHotels World Wideobserved. Informing us of thesecould be combined with your commentson the School courses - theiradequacy and their eventual shortcomings- as you see them now, inthe light of your industrial experience.Up-to-date feedback of this kind isvital for us and can be used anddeveloped in our courses andclasses.
